Silent Auction

This Thursday is our Silent Auction. Don’t forget to bring something new or gently used to auction off starting at $1.00. The rest of the group will bid on it to raise money for our group. See you this Thursday, January 20th. For a list of meeting dates, see the calendar page.

Holiday House: Coming Soon!!

Hi Ladies,

Don’t forget that Holiday House is coming up soon! We still have a couple spots open for vendors. Please have any potential vendors contact Tami O’Connor or Wendy Ilderton.

And remember to sell those tickets! There will be over 40 vendors selling hundreds of different items, not to mention that there will be a bounce house, BBQ and concession stands.

So get out there and spread the word!

Mom’s night out

Don’t miss the next Moms/Girls Night Out on Tuesday, October 26^th at Chipotle across from the Sam’s Club at the Mall of Ga beginning at 7 pm. Please invite a friend and remember no kids for this event but you can always bring them again to the next play date. It’s going to be a blast as usual so mark it on the calendar now.

Duncan Creek Play Date 10/13

Hi MOPS Moms,

The play date at Duncan Creek was a success! The sun came out and we had a great time chatting and chasing the kiddos around. If you missed it, please be sure to catch up with us at Girls Night Out on Tuesday, October 26^th at Chipotle across from the Sam’s Club at the Mall of Ga beginning at 7 pm. Please invite a friend and remember no kids for this event but you can always bring them again to the next play date.

If you have any ideas for play dates during the chilly winter months, please contact one of the Steering team members to help get the ball rolling (the list is below). You don’t have to be a part of Steering to host a play date or Mom’s night out. We’re all one big team so get those creative juices flowing.

Don’t miss the next meeting!

Our next meeting will be this Thursday, September 23rd at 9:30 am (drop off for childcare at 9:15 am). This will be a great one! We will be taught how to make personalized bracelets. Even if you’re not a big jewelry lover, come make one for your mom, sister, daughter or friend. Please let Michelle Carlson know if you will be attending. We welcome all first time guests, new moms, old moms and everyone who wants to just come for the homemade breakfast. Our group is completely inclusive, meaning no mom is turned away. Don’t mother alone!

Successful 1st Meeting

Our first meeting today (Sept 9th) was a HUGE success! We had a lot of new faces and old faces. Our red carpet and superstar mom were a site not to be missed. If you couldn’t be there, please come to the next meeting. We will learn to make bracelets from a professional jewerler and swap some holiday costumes. We are currently still registering moms so bring your friends as well. Also, new this year, we are offering a childcare room for homeschool children.

Moms Night Out: Join us for the 1st one of this new year

Hear ye, hear ye! Northview MOPS will be having moms night out at Mirko Pasta Hamilton Mill. Festivies (talking and eating) will begin at nineteen hundred hours on the 24th day of August. (Tuesday, August 24th at 7 pm). The entire female kingdom is declared to join us for riveting conversations. (That’s right, moms only but please invite your mom friends.)
